Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer
Laura oversees EMCOR’s information security and compliance department, which is responsible for protecting the integrity of the Company’s information systems and data. Laura monitors the threat landscape and communicates potential threats to our operating companies. She is responsible for our incident response plan and readiness for security breaches. She also manages security-related inquiries from customers and oversees security assessments of our operating companies. Laura strives to align our security needs with our strategic business plan.
Laura is a cyber security professional with more than 40 years of experience in security practice, processes, and standards. In her career, she has extensive experience in leading security teams, managing incident response, and implementing cutting-edge technology to enhance security and compliance.
Previously, Laura served as an active duty member, as well as a civil servant, with the United States Air Force. During this time, she worked with cryptographic systems in the Engineering and Installation Group which developed and deployed secure communications systems according to stringent military standards.
Laura earned a Bachelor of Science degree in information technology from the University of Phoenix. She also holds GIAC Essentials Certification, as well as GIAC Security Leadership Certification.
Laura enjoys spending her free time with her grandchildren and is an avid baseball fan.
