Cheryl began her career in South Africa as an auditor in practice before moving to the UK, where she spent three years working with a Telecommunications company as their Infrastructure Controller.

She later joined AECOM (then URS) where she spent 18 years of her career and carried out many UKI/EMEA finance roles including FP&A, Controllership, FD and CFO.

Cheryl joined EMCOR UK as Chief Financial Officer in September 2021 and brings extensive experience in the infrastructure and facilities services sectors. 

Her personal highlights include: building and developing a best in class, diverse and agile finance team that were seen as trusted business partners at AECOM UKI. 

Outside of work Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family, going on holiday, running, playing padel and reading.
