Executive Vice President and Co-Chief Operating Officer,
EMCOR Electrical Construction and Services

As Executive Vice President and Co-Chief Operating Officer of EMCOR Electrical Construction and Services division (ECS), Robert (Bob) Wilson is responsible for the operations of ECS’ electrical subsidiaries.

Bob provides strategic leadership for this portfolio of companies with 2019 revenues of $1.1B and 3,500 employees. His responsibilities include: business and bidding strategy development and implementation, budget preparation and monitoring, project performance evaluations, financial and project control systems implementation, and contract management support.

Expertise

Bob has over 40 years of construction industry experience, 35 of which involved large-scale electrical construction and service. Prior to joining EMCOR, Bob served in senior leadership roles at several national and regional electrical construction organizations. His past positions include Regional Operating Officer of Integrated Electrical Services (IES), a national electrical contractor; President and Chief Executive Officer of Primo Electric Inc. and Primenet L.L.C., regional operating subsidiaries of IES; Chief Operating Officer of Mona Electric, Inc., a regional electrical contractor; and Vice President Finance of E.C. Ernst, Inc., an international electrical contractor.

Bob has acquired in-depth knowledge and understanding of the electrical construction industry, as well as exposure to virtually every industry segment and job type across the country. In addition to providing senior leadership to ECS operating companies, Bob is actively involved in EMCOR’s acquisition program. He participates in the National Electrical Contractors Association’s large electrical group, and leads EMCOR’s Electrical CEO Peer Group.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the College of William and Mary, a Master of Science degree from the University of Arizona, and a Doctor of Management degree in Organizational Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
