EMCOR believes that safety, quality and productivity need to be integrated in order to correctly support business and provide the expected outcomes for our customers. Every advance in productivity produces a proportional decrease in risk and increase in quality. Reduced risk helps to reduce accidents and an accident free project will be more productive.

Safety

That's why our safety performance is substantially below the Bureau of Labor Statistics industry average. Our Be There For Life!-Zero Accident Program instills our employees with the conviction that every accident is preventable. Safety is a core value of our company.

Quality

EMCOR is passionate about quality. EMCOR's Operating Companies collaborate through the Productivity Plus Program to share information about new products and processes that have been proven to work for them. Productivity Plus publications distribute this knowledge by detailing the product or process, outlining the safety, quality and productivity benefits and explaining investment and payback criteria.

Productivity

At EMCOR, we understand that productivity is not about shortcuts, it is about ensuring that the right conditions are created so that schedules and plans can be completed on time or with time advantage. The right conditions include preplanning, setup, the deployment of trained workers with the right tools and equipment and the correct degree of instruction and supervision.

Through our Productivity Plus Roadshow we endeavor to educate our people about the effects of the aging workforce, fatigue and the need to change the way that we work in order to eliminate wasted motion and risk. We understand that all the requirements needed to create a productive workplace are also needed to produce a safe working environment for our people.
